Cardi B is slamming rumors that she and Offset are trying to sell their Atlanta mansion amid financial issues.
The Bronx native took to X on Monday to respond to a since-deleted tweet from Icy Scoop News, which, according to Page Six, alleged that Cardi and Set have been “fighting to make payments” on the Georgia home and are “facing foreclosure.”
“LMAOOO You bum bitches wish,” Cardi responded in a quote-tweet. “Me and Offset bought that house in 2019 for 5 million now it’s worth 7.”
She added, “Check the Atlanta market. And no, we not selling it… and if I ever sold it I would just sell my part to Offset since he loves Atlanta. Throwing salt on my home? Hating bad.”
The Atlanta property boasts five bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, per the outlet. The “Bodak Yellow” rapper also owns property in New Jersey, worth $5.85 million, which she showed off Tuesday morning in a video posted to X. She’s had the nine-bedroom, nine-bathroom home since 2021.
“Good morning from my second home!” she said in the clip. “It’s about to be 6:00 am,” she continued, as she walked onto her balcony and showed off her backyard, which has a pool and a playground set worth a reported $20,000. “Go get the money! Hey listen, go get the fucking money, OK? Go get the fucking money.”
Cardi then hopped on X Spaces to further combat rumors about her and Offset’s financial situation.
“If I wanna sell that house today, me and Offset could sell that shit in the blink of an eye,” she said. “But we don’t want to sell our house.” She added, "I close my eyes and I can make money. I might just drop $200,000 on a fucking necklace because I can bitch.”
